Donald Joseph Qualls better known by the DJ Qualls stage name DJ Qualls was born in the US. He is a producer, actor and model. Shooting to fame for his role as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition, he's appeared in more than 22 series, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a tough fighter. After two years of treatment the cancer has gone into Remission. His body was badly damaged by the treatment and the development of his body was slow down. At the time he started to make decisions, financial security seemed like his ultimate goal. He'd experienced poverty during his early years. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle and for so long, I'm able been able to enjoy that financial security or the world feels uncontrollable for me when he spoke to an interviewer. He thinks back to his early years, and is driven by the desire to act against bullying. His experience of being a victim is heartbreaking for him. His ideal role in film as well as in real life is that of father. He isn't chosen by the director to play those parts, but he says. He is hoping to become a father for a child.
