Mena Alexandra (born on February 13, 1979) is an actress and model hailing American-born model and actress. After launching her professional career as an actress, Mena Alexandra Suvari appeared as an actress in the 1990s on TV shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere that was that was released in the year 1997. Her performances on the film American Beauty, for which she was awarded a BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader interest. After that, she was in Loser (2000) along with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). Her appearances were in the 2002 independent drama Spun and the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. In addition, she was a part of the HBO series Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit during 2004. In 2005, the Screen Actors Guild nominated her as one of the best stars. In 2008, she included in a variety of films, like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is a model for Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's been on a number of fashion blogs and magazines such as Vogue. She has been a supporter and a defender of The African Medical and Research Foundation which is a well-known charity that offers assistance to the African continent.
